**Announce: I DID not change in the assignments section last week that you need only have your storyboards, not your styleframe storyboards ready tonight. I will make a very QUICK run through of your progress tonight (2 minutes per student...hold me to this :) and then we will begin student blog presentations.
NEXT WEEK we will have a visiting designer Liad Baniel. He will be viewing & discussing with each of you your marketing spots styleframes and/or working motion pieces, and then will lead a general discussion about branding and design.
Presentations: Student Blogs
Presentations should be no longer than 8 minutes.
Some things to cover: How does your blog reflect your interests, your aesthetics, your pov and/or your thesis research? What have you gained through compiling & posting the various images, articles, clips, links etc...to your blog? Think a little bit about the publicness of your blog, how does (if it does) affect what you post, how you describe your tastes, concerns or ambitions? Honestly access how you feel about blogging for this class. Does it feel like an academic exercise? Do you still keep a private journal additionally that hold design notes and ideas? )
Homework: If not completed, complet styleframes for marketing spots. Begin on iteration 01 of your motion design.
